Dr Param Singh is a professional agriculturalist-entomologist, an entrepreneur with extensive experience in global platforms of field R&D in a wide range of agricultural, herbal and medicinal products.

During his younger years his interest was in integrated pest-management systems of crops, commercialisation of innovations in agricultural techniques, in production, post-harvest technologies and packing of field, and fresh crops, import-export and establishing market niche globally, since 1992 he has diversified his experience from lab to global business in marketing, and commercialisation of innovation across cotton, food, fibre, especially product development, which are organics, biodegradables, and made from recycled materials and energy conservation processes.

His technological expertise in a wide variety of areas, particularly in disruptive R&D is definitely pragmatic and futuristic. His major interest lies in academia, industry, global manufacturing and marketing for innovative agricultural and eco-friendly products, which are developed in collaboration with multinational companies.

He has perfected his product development skills to become an entrepreneurial environmental scientist, who is always willing to learn modern technologies and processes in international business, particularly in global food, fibre and organic wellness systems with a focus on sustainable ecosystems.

Param has been a Board Advisor and Managing Director with over 20 years of experience in the import & export of baby and organic products. At the board level, he excels at product design, sourcing and set compliance processes for domestic and international markets with global R&D data generated in alliance with national and international laboratories. This is accomplished by adapting international practices of budgeting, tapping sources globally, supply chain management, laboratory testing, governance, and market trends and branding launches at international exhibitions.

Board level achievements include leadership in design management, budget management, and meeting investors and industry partners quarterly. In an executive capacity, Param is currently an Advisor/Consultant at Simpli Disruptive Innovations Pty Ltd and Ampar Pty Ltd. Here he consults clients in areas of neo fibres, recycled eco products, outsourcing. Prior to this, he founded his own company Ampar Private Limited and built it up from ground zero.

Parm has a doctorate in Entomology, with Biochemistry as a minor, from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, India. Recently, he attended Harvard Business School, Boston, USA to update his Management and Business Skills by undergoing training in a focused program on “Innovations through growth”.
